Lash Extensions – Aftercare Guide
Aftercare Instructions
The First 48 Hours
- Avoid getting your lashes wet. This includes swimming, steam rooms, and hot showers, as moisture can weaken the adhesive bond.
- Do not rub, touch, or apply makeup to the lash line while the adhesive is curing.
- Use a lash-safe, oil-free cleanser to gently cleanse around the eye area.
- Avoid cotton pads, wipes, or anything that can snag or pull at your lashes.
- Brush your lashes gently in the morning and before bed with a clean mascara wand to keep them fluffy and separated.
Daily Care
- Cleanse lashes daily using an oil-free cleanser to remove dirt, oils, and debris. Clean lashes last longer and remain healthier.
- Avoid all oil-based products near the lash line, including cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens.
- Sleep on your back to avoid crushing or tangling your extensions.
- Use water-based mascara only if needed, and avoid waterproof formulas.
- Keep lashes away from excessive heat, including blow dryers and ovens, as this can weaken the adhesive.
- Do not pick, pull, or rub your lash extensions. This can lead to breakage or premature shedding.
Ongoing Maintenance
- Book a lash fill every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain fullness and shape.
- Do not attempt to remove lash extensions at home. Professional removal is required to protect your natural lashes.
